All the talk about the League Cup final has been about how Rangers weee denied a penalty against Celtic.
The Rangers meltdown the Celtic defeat has caused has been outstanding as the pain of another Glasgow Derby loss starts to sink in.
The reality of being so far behind Celtic is killing the Rangers fans but for the Celtic support it’s made for some superb entertainment.
The drama of losing on penalties has stung our rivals but it seems that if VAR was used correctly, the game might not have gotten that far and Celtic could and probably should have won the game in regulation time.
Celtic’s Cameron Carter-Vickers was fouled in run up to Rangers goal
Celtic battled back from 1-0 down to take a 2-1 lead in eight second-half minutes after what Brendan Rodgers clearly appeared to deliver a half-time rocket to his players.
Rangers equalised through Diomande but footage shows that VAR wronged Celtic and Carter-Vickers was impeded as he tried to block the ball from heading goalwards.
Have a look at this:

I’m sure that when Rangers demand their explanation from the SFA over the refereeing decisions of the Hampden final they will include this mistake in the dossier right?
Because, after all, they do want what’s best for Scottish football, don’t they?
