Statue of Brother Walrfrin outside Celtic Park

Celtic’s Kasper Schmeichel, Arne Engels and Nicolas Kuhn have rattled the Rangers support on Follow Follow after Hibs win

Celtic’s win over Hibs opens up a 14-point gap over Rangers ahead of their game at Ross County in Dingwall his lunchtime.

The title race for the Ibrox support is all but over as they look chase down Aberdeen in second place as Jimmy Thelin’s team continues to choke and take a nosebleed at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

Celtic are rampant right now and the pain the Bhoys are causing Rangers fans is superb this season on and off the park.

But it was in the Hoops’ win over Hibs that had Follow Follow foaming at the mouth over Kasper Schmeichel, Arne Engels and Celtic ace, Nicolas Kuhn.

Rangers fans wishing injury on Nicolas Kuhn ahead of Celtic League Cup final

Not only does the Rangers fans need to worry about Celtic winger Daizen Maeda destroying James Tavernier again at Hampden next week, Kuhn has been thrown into that mix as well.

Scoring goals and creating assists for fun, Kuhn appears to have the Rangers fans sweating ahead of the big Glasgow Derby.

Wishing a career-ending injury is shocking, but hardly surprising.

Now hoping Kuhn is missing for Celtic to allow Jefte ‘freedom’ is peak banter years.

Clearly they’ve never heard of James Forrest before who is more than capable of taking care of Rangers on his own.

Their pain is superb but it’s nothing to what Kasper Schmeichel and especially Arne Engels have caused them this weekend.

Kasper Schmeichel and Arne Engels deliver Rangers fan’s pain as Celtic beat Hibs

Arne Engels made his Celtic debut against Rangers in the 3-0 battering of them at Celtic Park earlier this season.

But it was the Belgian not seeing red for his challenge on a Hibs player that made the Follow Follow crowd see, well, red.

Yeah because Celtic wouldn’t be able to care of Rangers without Engels.

Next up, some brilliant bloue-on-blue.

Absolutely superb viewing. And as for Celtic goalkeeper, Kasper Schmeichel’s man of the match performance against Hibs?

Well, that has ruined them and given them hope for the League Cup final at the same time.

And I’ll leave the best for last. What’s that saying Celtic fans use again? Oh yeah, it’s the hope that kills them.

Seven days and counting to the big game and Celtic fans are likely to see more of this delusion. They really never learn.
