Every Celtic fan knows that the Rangers supporters get very toxic whenever a refereeing or VAR decision goes for our club.
At the weekend, Celtic were on the correct side of two decisions by the match officials against Hearts as a penalty that was awarded against us was rescinded and one that was given was finally awarded by VAR.
Liam Scales was vindicated for his handball and Hearts’ James Penrice was penalised for his illegal obstruction of the ball and almost four days later, both decisions are still causing some bear-on-bear action on the Rangers Media forum.
Celtic penalty causes major Rangers fan pain
Regular readers will know that it’s usually Follow Follow that gives us our source of entertainment whenever Celtic win.
But on Rangers Media, the abuse they dish out to each other is just next level:

And that comment provoked this response and rebuttal:

One fan raged, “The officials are mic’d up and recorded. The watching replays of decisions during a game is done away with ya fu–ing idiot. Still waiting on you coming to ‘cave my heed in’
“It was funny because after you were intellectually battered the other day you hid and then today you emerged in the UFO thread (a what now??) and tried to make a smart ar-e comment then when another poster corrected you it was the usual..radio silence.
“If you want a repeat of the other day then feel free but I promise you this, tomorrow you’ll be calling the DWP for an advance on your brew money to buy some chamomile tea because I’ll make a fool of you that much and show you up to be the fu–ing idiot that you are that you’ll be struggling to sleep.”
But it was when this response was added regarding the ball hitting Scales’ shoulder:

That caused the proverbial excrement to hit the fan:

The stakes got raised:

I thought I’d seen it all on Follow Follow but you can be rest assured that if I’m looking for a real Rangers meltdown, I’ll be heading this absolutely mental fan forum.
A UFO thread? Really?
