Celtic’s Champions League draw, I think it is fair to say, is one that will please pretty much every Celtic fan in the country and beyond tonight.
The was a genuine fear that Celtic could have drawn some of the really big guns of Europe in the Champions League tonight but fortunately, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG were avoided.
Now, don’t get me wrong Dortmund and Atalanta away as well as Aston Villa will be tough but having home games against the likes of Club Brugge, Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava could give Celtic the nine points they need to go through.
And as the Celtic fans lick their lips at the possibility of qualifying for the last 16 of the tournament., the Rangers fans over on Follow Follow were cursing the draw.
Rangers pain at Celtic’s Champions League draw
First up was this guy who clearly rushed optimistically to Google to see how our Champions League opponents were doing. His optimism was short-lived:
And this next Rangers fan was gutted at the level of competition that Celtic have been drawn up against:

Whilst another Rangers fan bemoaned the new computerised system that handed Celtic a potentially very good draw and qualifyable:
And this next guy was just, well, deluded because, let’s be honest, the level of team in the Europa League is nowhere near the class of the Champions League:
It’s great to see the Rangers fans are Follow Follow-ing the Scottish champions so closely and they should lap it up because come Sunday, that’s about as close as they, and their team, will get to Celtic after we trounce them in the first Glasgow Derby of the season.

According to ‘Auld Bear’ on Rangers Radio last night, and his one and only colleague on the two-hour long programme, there is a general conspiracy within the football establishment in favour of Celtic and against Rangers. Presumably UEFA computers are guilty of the same?
The most hilarious thing was at the end of his hysterical rant ‘Auld Bear’ then accused Celtic fans of always ‘playing the victim card’. 🤣🤣🤣
