Edinburgh fringe comedian drops superb Oasis one-liner to rip Rangers’ Ibrox shambles and the Celtic fans loved it

Everyone loves a laugh at Rangers and none more so than the Celtic fans.

The Ibrox club have been in a shambles both on and off the park as they try and cope with playing at Hampden due to the current shambles surrounding their stadium.

It’s been well documented that Rangers may struggle to be back in Ibrox for October and as mystery still surrounds a return date, Edinburgh fringe comedian, Richard Cobb took to social media channel X to deliver a well-timed one-liner after Oasis announced their much-hyped reunion tour.

Why Hampden wasn’t chosen as Oasis venue

The British supergroup will be playing at Murrayfield next August but Cobb delivered this joke on X which took a pop at Rangers as to why Hampden wasn’t picked as a venue.

Quite witty and topical and it also went viral with almost half-a-million views. And as it did, Cobb celebrated the success of the joke:

Celtic fans laugh as Rangers fans get rinsed

The Celtic fans loved the joke. They appreciated the funny side of it. The Rangers fans? Not so much:

Oh dear, the poor Bears were not happy. The Celtic fans on the other hand:

They really are a sensitive wee bunch but then if my club was a shambles that had trouble winning a raffle, and was homeless and had to watch dross for 90 minutes, I would be a tad touchy as well to be fair.

Let other Celtic fans know your thoughts on this all things to do with the Bhoys!
