The Premier Sports Cup is back and Celtic will be hoping to win it back from Rangers this season.
Brendan Rodgers was eliminated in the fourth round last season as Rangers went on to win only the third trophy of their history and as they look to defend their only cup, St Johnstone at Hampden awaited.
The Rangers fans had a planned walkout protest organised for tonight’s game against St Johnstone but it seems that they decided to do it before the game even kicked off.
Obviously this isn’t the first time that they’ve abandoned their team when they have needed them.
A half full Hampden for their Champions League defeat to Dinamo Kyiv was embarrassing enough.
And this time, it’s not just the Celtic fans that are laughing at the Ibrox club now:
