The Rangers hilarity hits a new level this week after their share price crashed to an all-time low compared to Celtic’s.
Celtic have seen record increases over the last few weeks which has seen the club’s value rise to £250m. With everything surrounding the Parkhead club remaining positive in terms of finances, success on the park and stability in the dressing room the immediate future of the club looks very rosy.
Rangers, on the other hand, are a bit of a basket case. With all the carry-on surrounding the state of Ibrox and Philippe Clement admitting that he was sold a bit of a pup back in October, things on the park for them are looking bleak.
And well as off it. It seems now that the Rangers share price has hit a record-low this week:
And it’s little wonder considering the number of share issues that have been issued by the club.
So that inspired me to look at what the shares of the current Ibrox investors, including John Bennett, could be worth based on the number they hold.
And the drop in value is incredible. Take a look at this:
| Investor | Number of shares | Worth April 2023 | Worth now @ £0.04p |
| New Oasis Asset Ltd | 63,172,893 | £11,371,120 | £2,526,915 |
| Douglas Park | 52,550,000 | £9,459,000 | £2,102,000 |
| George Alexander Taylor | 44,074,998 | £7,933,499 | £1,762,999 |
| Stuart Gibson | 44,000,000 | £7,920,000 | £1,760,000 |
| Borita Investments Ltd | 27,611,955 | £4,970,151 | £1,104,479 |
| John Bennett | 24,647,059 | £4,436,470 | £985,882 |
| Perron Investments LLC | 24,250,000 | £4,365,000 | £970,000 |
| George Letham | 22,274,516 | £4,009,412 | £890,980 |
| Club 1872 | 22,202,838 | £3,996,510 | £888,113 |
| Tifosy Investment Nominees Ltd | 17,610,000 | £3,169,800 | £704,400 |
Many of them are now worth over four times now than what they were little over a year ago. That’s quite staggering.
It was around about April time last year that Club 1872 purchased shares from Dave King. I bet they wished they hadn’t bothered now.

Anyone got a spare biscuit tin for these guys ?
