The Rangers support is a touchy wee bunch and brings great to us as Celtic fans because it gives us so much to laugh at them about.
The Ibrox shambles is the latest in a long line of brilliant gaffes that brings us what we have all known to be called The Banter Years.
For every step they seem to take forward, they seem to take about five steps back and it’s brilliant to watch.
Like their stance on sectarianism. Their Everyone Anyone campaign is nothing but a token gesture to tackle the issue amongst their fans.
Because if they really wanted to sort it, they would shut their stands for one game as soon as they heard the first rendition of The Billy Boys.
They won’t, of course, because the wrath they would incur would be palpable. Just like Jim Spence‘s latest tweet about Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo ‘papist’ tweet goes viral
If anyone knows how to wind up the Rangers fans, it’s Jim Spence. He rattles them at every turn and this next serving is a cracker.
Have a look at this:
The tweet went viral with over 273k views as the Celtic fans had a good laugh whilst it triggered the Ibrox support.
If you take a look at the thread preceding the tweet, it wasn’t long before the Rangers fans were pulling out their usual patter on CA as they took offence to what was clearly a light-hearted joke.
Like I said, they are a touchy wee bunch but my goodness do they not give us all a good laugh.
