Jim Spence shares what Humza Yousaf did when the BBC investigated him for telling the truth about Rangers dying

Rangers dying is probably one of the most talked about things that happened in Scottish football. The Celtic fans brilliantly remind the Newco fans about it daily whilst, strangely, the Scottish media won’t touch the story.

The liquidation lie that keeps getting peddled in the media is an embarrassing chapter for the SMSM as they fear telling the truth about Rangers dying in 2012.

They even stick by the claim that somehow the old Rangers’ history was bought by the new club whilst conveniently forgetting that they never paid the debts of the old club.

But there was one man who refused to accept that lie and that was Jim Spence. The former BBC man was investigated and dismissed by the BBC over a question he asked when appearing on Sportsound.

400 complaints were made when Spence said this, “John McClelland, who was the chairman of the old club, some people will tell you that the club, well, the club that died, [is] possibly coming back.”

Jim Spence reveals Humza Yousaf support

The former BBC man was speaking about Yousaf’s resignation last night when he made an astonishing reveal about the support the former First Minister gave him during that time.

Spence said (X), “I’ll say this for Humza Yousaf. When I was getting grief over the Rangers liquidation story, and the Oxbridge folk at the BBC were investigating my question on air about liquidation, he was one of the few folk to offer me private support.

“And I didn’t know the fella from Adam.”

A touch of class from the former First Minister who was never afraid to call out Rangers or their fans, unlike our cowardice Scottish media lackeys.

  1. As a Celtic fan of many years, I see it as my duty to remind sevco fans on a daily basis that the old rangers died a long time ago. They cheated and got caught, they could not pay off their debts, and consequently they died.
    RIP the auld rangers 👋👋👋
