Celtic fans slaughter Tam McManus’ latest Callum McGregor drivel

Tam McManus discusses Celtic and Rangers

As far as pundit opinion goes, Tam McManus’ take on Celtic captain, Callum McGregor has to be one of the worst out there.

McGregor was missing from Scotland duty in this international break as Scotland suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat from the Netherlands and an embarrassing 1-0 home loss to Northern Ireland.

These two fixtures make it seven games without a win for the national team but it was what McManus said after the Dutch defeat that got the Celtic fans really going.

Have a watch of this:

With almost 50k views at the time of writing, McManus has exposed himself as a guy who doesn’t have a clue what he is talking about.

McGregor has been vital for Steve Clarke and Scotland and the Celtic captain is one of the main reasons we have made back to back Euros.

McManus is miles off it here and these Celtic fans really let him know all about it.

Celtic fans vigorously defend McGregor

The Celtic legend is one of the most consistent performers for both club and country and to suggest he faces a fight for his Scotland shirt triggered the Hoops fans into action.

On the thread, one fan immediately replied, “Only took a few hours to prove this is the worst take ever.”

One fan had some health advice for Tam, “this is what happens when u start drinking supers at 8am.”

Another gave McManus a small history lesson, “McGregor losing his place after one game? He’s been one of Scotland’s best players for the last 4/5 years!”

Another was absolutely certain how easy it will be for McGregor to reclaim his Scotland place, “Hahahaha nae bother team’ he walks back inn wearin slippers if he wants ffs.”

one put it simply, “Absolute nonsense. He walks back into the team. Ryan Christie drops out and Mcginn pushes up behind a striker! Simple.”

And I’ll leave the last word to this fan who summed up Callum perfectly, “Calmac is the best midfielder Scotland have.”
