Journalist breaks Rangers Twitter after James Tavernier truth bombs, Ibrox fans blame Celtic

Ibrox Stadium

I can’t help but admire anyone in the media who comes out and tells the truth about Sevco, their players and how they compare to Celtic’s.

The truth is hard to hear sometimes, especially when you think your players are better than they actually are.

And that leads me to Sevco captain, James Tavernier. Captain Failure has been lauded as a Sevco legend recently despite only picking up three trophies in his entire career.

And here, journalist Gordon Parks spoke some truth about the penalty king of Mordor and when the video of his criticism was posted on Kerrydale Meltdown, Rangers Twitter exploded with rage.

Have a watch:

Take the quip about Five Guys out and Parks has a point. Tavernier doesn’t have the aura that past Rangers captains had. Nor half the skill.

Even as a mad Celtic fan, I can appreciate legends of the game from Ibrox and trust me, the 12-yard tottie isn’t one.

Hell, even the Sevco fans are quick to turn on him when the going gets tough and results don’t go their way.

And as Rangers Twitter (or X if you prefer) absolutely lost it, the Celtic fans continued to tell the truth about a ‘legend’ that has watched Celtic pick up five trebles in six years.

And if you check out the comments on the video, its incredible the amount of Sevco posters that are actually blaming Celtic or him being a Celtic fan for his comments.

Bizarre behaviour but, I suppose, it’s why we are always laughing at them.
