Video – Connor Goldson goes viral as Rangers escape yet another Ibrox referee decision

Ibrox Stadium

Another week and yet another dodgy refereeing decision goes Rangers’ way to leave the Celtic support fuming.

With Celtic beating St Mirren over the weekend, it was Saturday’s games in the Scottish Cup that took centre stage.

And so did Connor Goldson. The Rangers defender was caught out once more at Ibrox but this time it wasn’t a handball that had the Hoops fans raging.

Goldson went in for a challenge and after losing control of the ball, the Rangers defender went in recklessly and, well, let’s just say another pattern of assistance saved Goldson once more.

Have a watch:

Quite incredible from Goldson and yet another occasion where he seems untouchable by Scottish referees.

The Ibrox club seem to be the only one in Scotland that gets the rub of the green with these types of decisions and it is now starting to grate not only on the Celtic fans but also the rest of Scottish football.

Celtic on the other hand, will continue to go about their business quietly and yesterday’s win over St Mirren ends a tough three-game away spell where the only blip was the 1-1 draw with Aberdeen.
