Celtic fans have reacted to the latest news that Fabio Silva is set to join Rangers in the January transfer window.
Why would the Celtic fans care I hear you ask? Well, according to reports this afternoon, Silva was reportedly on the brink of signing for a Scottish club with both Celtic and Rangers were said to be courting him.
But after Fabrizio Romano confirmed this afternoon that Silva is on his way to Govan, the Celtic fans couldn’t hide their relief.

And, to be fair to the Celtic fans, despite his £35m price tag, his stats are pretty awful. During a loan spell at PSV Eindhoven, Silva netted five times in 19 appearances.
Prior to that, he was at Anderlecht where he scored 11 times in 32. But for Wolves, his record is even worse. Five goals in 72 outings meant that the young Portuguese forward had to be loaded out but as his struggles at the EPL club continue, his next destination is now set to be Ibrox. [Transfermarkt]
As these Celtic fans say, this has shades of Aaron Ramsey written all over it. It will be interesting to see how this one pans out in the second half of the season. Tears anyone?
