In a strange move by the Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers felt he had to apologise for his team’s performance against Hearts yesterday afternoon.
The Celtic team’s failure to show a lack of fight was addressed by Callum McGregor at full time.
But instead of Rodgers giving his team what for, the Celtic manager apologised to the Celtic support for his team’s lack of desire.

Well, it’s fair to say that the apology went down like a lead balloon. The fans don’t want an apology, they want the manager to fix what are very clear problems in the Celtic Park dressing room.

The ultimatum of having only until the end of the year was a reply that struck me. That suggests that if Rodgers were to lose to Rangers, there would be no way back in the eyes of the Celtic support.
