First of all, let me get this out the way:
‘A MASSIVE ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO THE CELTIC BOARD!!”
It’s about time we took the SFA to task and it seems that last nights Jota VAR shambles was one mistake too far.
Our club has been the victim of shocking on field referee decisions and off field VAR injustices.
In just three weeks we have been denied a stonewall penalty, a perfectly legitimate goal, a red card and a also had a shocking penalty given against us by the new technology and it seems now, the club have decided enouhhnis enough.
As reported by the Daily Record:
“The Scottish Sun now report that, while Celtic are happy the VAR officials and the replay monitor had access to sufficient angles, they have been left perplexed by the angle shown to fans watching on TV.
“And it’s claimed they will seek clarification from the SFA, feeling the technology could be undermined if the situation is not cleared up.”
It’s about time the club demanded answers. With over half a season left and looking like we are going to be at the mercy of VAR, Celtic are quite right to demand answers from the games governing body and I, for one, cannot wait to hear what they say.
