This is the first time I’ve seen this penalty incident at Ibrox and I have to say it’s a shocking award!
The St Mirren fans are, rightly, going off on one at awarding of a penalty that was a perfectly legitimate ball winning tackle and the original tweet from the Black & White Army really sums the decision of Nick Walsh up:
Even watching the replay and looking at where Walsh is standing, what did he see that most of us missed?
How could he award that penalty from a position that he was looking right at it?
The look on Stephen Robinsons face says it all really.
And these St Mirren and fans of other clubs called it out for what it was:
Not a penalty. Even if it had been awarded to us.
Frustrating? Aye. Surprising, at Ibrox? Naw.
Cannot wait for VAR.— Mikey Stewart 🏴🏁 (@MikeyTheBuddie) October 9, 2022
Only one ground and team in the country that’s awarded. Brother Walsh enquiring a standing ovation at next lodge meeting.
VAR is going to totally embarrass the SFA and it’s officials.

In my eyes it was never penalty but hey its Rangers we are playing and they win games by getting penalties going back years so im not surprised by the decision and the refs are just as bad in my opinion.

Never in the month of Sundays was that a penalty. The fact that Walsh has given Rangers 17 penalties in 22 games says it all. Utterly corrupt. 😡
