Have to love Barry Ferguson don’t you?
Tries really hard to try and be impartial as a pundit and columnist, but like most Rangers minded pundits in the media, it doesn’t take long for the mask to slip and show their true colours.
Like this brilliant climb down by the former Rangers man.
Back in December, Barry wrote in his column in the Daily Record that he was calling the title. It was over. The 17th December.
Now? He left hoping for a miracle and writing diatribe in his wee column where he is now trying to question Celtic’s bottle for the title run in.
A team with winners. McGregor, Taylor, Rogic, Forrest, Ralston have all been over this course already. Not to mention Hatate, Ideguchi, Juranovic and Hart who also all serial winners.
All won titles at previous clubs. And domestic cups.
And there was also the small matter of the team getting a taste of silverware in December when picking up the League Cup when injuries ravaged the club.
What Barry seems to forget that a team from Glasgow has bottled it so far and it’s not Celtic.
Which team surrendered a six point lead in three months? Or was it two months?
Who cares but Barry’s pain is delicious.
