Dave King turns on Sevco board with hilarious ‘recent success’ jibe. Ange has ruined them

Ange really has ruined them.

I mean it. They all thought he would be gone by Christmas but the funny thing, the Celtic boss is taking them to Australia for a wee tour in his back pocket for this Christmas!

Well, not quite Christmas but you know what I mean.

As the fallout from the Sydney Super Cup continues to ruin the *Rangers fans year (and it’s only March!!) dodgy (allegedly) Dave has stepped in and put his two bobs worth on the table.

Referring to the tournament, King referred to the clubs recent successes to blame for the PR disaster that has enfolded his hybrid club ,“I am 100 per-cent with all supporters on this. It is not something that I would have sanctioned if I was still on the board.

“Unfortunately, this is another in an increasingly long list of recent instances where the club has shown its indifference to supporter wishes and interests.

“The shoddy treatment of Club 1872, the firing of Mark Hateley, Richard Gough, Derek Johnstone as ambassadors, the unseemly spat with the football authorities and the completely unnecessary loss of a manager who won title number 55 and would have successfully defended the title are among the concerns that have caught my attention.

“Recent success has unfortunately created short memories and supporters have every right to be concerned.”

So what recent successes is he on about? The COVID title? That’s one success.

Celtic have sweeped up all trophies before them apart from last season, and even then St Johnstone still won more trophies than the tribute act.

Anything for a headline is our Dave.
