Transfer deadline day is one that is full of excitement, trepidation and, well, just excitement for all football fans. Unless you support Celtic that is.
On the final day of what is probably the most important window in a long time, Celtic have signed just one player at the time of writing this.
It’s a far cry from the days of Ange Postecoglou when the Australian gaffer didn’t mess about. He identified his targets early, paid the money and got them in.
But now Ange has gone, it seems like it’s back to business as usual with Celtic’s transfers as we meander our way towards the deadline.
So, who’s to blame for the debacle? Rodgers? Mark Lawwell? The whole of the Celtic board? According to these fans, there is only one man that needs to be held to account as they vent their frustrations at another poor transfer window.
Not forgetting his son Mark, our Head of First Team Scouting and Recruitment.. get rid of both of them as a first step to modernising the Club and eradicate the Nepotism and Cronyism pic.twitter.com/JTudiYWwz9

It’s definitely intentional, he obviously doesn’t like BR so him and I’m certain a number of board members are trying to make him look bad or to walk. They are using the club to aid their personal feelings.

This Celtic fan absolutely nails it:
He said at the AGM, the boards extortionate wage rise were in line with industry standards. Yet they are reluctant to bring in players and pay industry standard wages to compete in Europe.

I hope I’ve got it wrong and that by the time of this publishing at 7pm we have signed two players. I also hope I win the lottery at some point this week.
I know which one I have a better chance of getting. Even though I don’t buy a ticket.
