Chris Sutton delivers damning verdict on Brendan Rodgers at Celtic so far

Celtic under Brendan Rodgers have been poor to watch recently. Insipid, devoid of ideas and just plain boring.

That might seem harsh, but it’s true. The football has been turgid and coupled with the atmosphere at Celtic Park, it’s been a tough watch.

So how does it get fixed? Chris Sutton knows and he’s put the ball firmly in the Celtic manager’s court.

And he’s correct. Rodgers has taken over a treble winning squad and took it to the point of mediocrity.

Losses to Kilmarnock and Hearts coupled with draws against Hibs, St Johnstone and Motherwell have put Celtic’s hopes of adding to their ever growing list of honours in danger.

Rodgers must get a tune out of his players soon as The Rangers come to town in less than ten days now and nothing but a win in the next three games will satisfy the Celtic support.
