We all remember Oscar Gloukh right?
The Israeli wonderkid was heavily linked to Celtic in December amid reports that Maccabi Tel Aviv had released details of a €7m (£6m) release clause. [Daily Record]
A bit steep for an 18 year old and it is little wonder Celtic stepped away from any ‘deal’.

But someone decided at that price he was still worth a punt.
And the money from Red Bull certainly comes in handy.
RB Salzburg have taken the plunge and decided to pay the full release clause to take the highly rated Gloukh to Austria.
Barcelona also tried to sign Gloukh as Benfica, Udinese and Borussia Dortmund but none stumped up the cash to prize his away from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In truth, Celtic are well covered in the attacking midfield position and Gloukh would have been left cooling his heels on the bench so moving to a club where he is pretty much guaranteed first team football is a better move for him.
Celtic expect to conclude some more transfer business before the window closes but more incomings are looking very unlikely unless there is an u expected departure in the final days of the a busy January transfer window.
