It takes a special kind of brass neck to lecture others on Celtic VAR consistency when you’re busy peddling selective clips to suit a narrative.
Ewen Cameron’s latest ‘short movie’ attempt on X has gone down like a lead balloon with the Celtic fans, and for good reason.

In his desperate search to attempt to prove some sort of VAR conspiracy, Ewen has once again proven that while he might have the equipment to make a film, he’s got zero vision when it comes to the actual laws of the game.
The replies to his post were a masterclass in calling out hypocrisy. @Chalky1888 hit the nail on the head, pointing out Ewen’s sudden amnesia regarding a blatant foul on Tierney at Aberdeen—an incident Ewen had no problem discussing on his podcast until it didn’t fit the current agenda.
You missed the same foul on tierney at Aberdeen even though you spoke about it on your wee podcast 🤷🏻♂️ why ignore it now ?????

Fair question ? 🤷🏻♂️
As Chalky rightly asked: ‘Why ignore it now?’
Why Celtic fans aren’t buying the VAR narrative
The big issue, as many Hoops fans pointed out, is the complete difference in comparison Ewen is trying to peddle. @chinabhoy67 and @PJOConroy dismantled the logic with surgical precision.
Ewan please tell us you can see the difference in the tackles. If you can’t it just looks as tho you’re showing a bit of bias. If you’re going to compare tackle at least do it with something similar.

As @PJOConroy said, “I know you only do things for clicks Ewen. To think those two tackles are the same is just a lack of understanding of anything to do with football.
“Dundee Utd boy is outstretched, straight leg the whole contact is high. Ox is close proximity and a glance off the shin onto foot.”
While Ewen tries to claim both tackles are the same, the reality is clear: one involved an outstretched, straight-leg contact that was dangerously high, while the Oxlade-Chamberlain one was a case of close proximity and a glance off the shin onto the foot.
@robjonescfc even pointed out, “His sock doesn’t come down it’s a red card. The fact it does, confirms the main contact was on the foot”.
It’s the same old story from Cameron, a ‘short movie’ designed for clicks rather than clarity. As Celtic fans put it, dry your eyes Ewen… you’re not the only club [we know which one that is], who’s suffered due to VAR inconsistencies.
