Kris Boyd’s slant at Celtic’s injury time added on has been mocked by the Parkhead support this week.
The Sky Sports pundit put on a wee skit on the Go Ballistic podcast where Boyd suggested that Celtic manager Martin O’Neill called him to give him more time to check out of his hotel room.

Celtic are 11th in the table of the clubs who get the most added on time at the end of each game with, surprise surprise, Rangers on top with almost five minutes compared to Celtic getting just over 4 minutes and 10 seconds.

The serious side to this is that Boyd gets a lot of exposure in The Scottish Sun and on Sky Sports and it won’t be long until the match officials will feel under pressure not to apply the rules of stoppage time properly.
