It seems that people from the Scottish Sun simply cannot help themsleves when it comes to attacking Celtic managers.
First off, former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers hit out at a Parkhead coward after someone connected to the club attacked him in that rag of an outlet.
The article labelled the Celtic treble-winner as ‘trying to work his ticket’ out of the club whilst he was fighting back at the Celtic board’s shambolic transfer business.
Celtic fans saw through that, and now they will see through another Sun hack as he takes aim at interim Celtic manager Martin O’Neill.
Jim Delahunt attacks ‘ditzy old’ Celtic boss Martin O’Neill
Jim Delahunt, who had to disgracefully quit Superscoreboard in 2015 after being found guilty of drink-driving [Daily Record], took aim at O’Neill in an unprovoked attack on social media towards the Celtic boss.
Delahunt posted on X, “It’s taken three games but at least this should be the end of the ditzy old uncle Martin interviews.”

I mean, where do you even start with that? To talk about a Celtic legend so disparagingly is disgraceful.
But instead of this site weighing in on Delhunt, the Celtic fans did the job just fine.
Celtic fans roast Jim Delahunt’s ambush on Martin O’Neill
The tweet went viral and with almost 69,000 views, plenty of Celtic fans weighed in on Delahunt.
First up:

Another Celtic fan ripped into the Sun columnist and said:
You’re a f clown

I’m sure that you have a few skeletons in the closet, c–t
@Mitch111078 nails the media narrative around O’Neill and said, “I knew this would happen. The hurting Rangers fans in the press, of which there are plentiful, have been gagging for an opportunity to criticise Celtic and O’Neill ever since Sundays result.
“Predictable as ever. Tom English, Johnny McFarlane will be next.”
Martin O'Neill shouldn't be Celtic manager, but put some respect on the man's name Jim, he's more than earned it.

@steelyhoops was up next with, “I’m guessing msm guys dont like him because he always put you in you place when you crossed a line? 🤣
“He knows more about football than any pundits currently working in Scottish shows.
“Kris Boyd? Scott Alan? Andy Haliday? You’d rather listen to these guys? You’r’re a riot.”
And then there is this:
Martins as sharp as a tack, hes always worked the media, either as a poor Irish man act or as an old man act. Can't believe so many fall for it😂😂😂

It seems the Celtic boss has Delahunt rattled and just outed him as another anti-Celtic hurting media man.
