It’s turning into a great weekend for Celtic fans already and they’ve yet to watch their team play.
After Rangers lost to Hearts, Brendan Rodgers knows that a Celtic win at Kilmarnock tomorrow opens up a chasm at the top of the league.
The Celtic manager has had to put up with a lot of nonsense from the board and the press this week but a win tomorrow could help get his season back on track.
And as the fallout of Rangers’ recent result begins, Ally McCoist’s latest social media meltdown will delight the Celtic support.
Ally McCoist rages at Rangers’ league position vs Celtic
Celtic are currently second in the league behind Hearts with a game in hand.
And as McCoist digested that, he went on a rant against Rangers manager Russell Martin tonight.
McCoist said on X, “Listen, Russell, son… I’ve seen some bad starts in my time, but you’ve managed to take the biscuit, the tray, and the whole tea set with this one.
“Tenth place? At Rangers? That’s not a league position, that’s a bus route.”

McCoist had a history of being sleekit with his comments about Martin but it seems now the former Rangers man had nailed his colours to the mast.
Trying to be funny, McCoist’s Celtic pain is palpable and it’s great to see the wee ‘cheeky chappy’ do his usual turncoat routine and show his true colours.
