Celtic fans have the board, Brendan Rodgers and some of the first-team in their sights after that Champions League shambles this week.
Celtic’s defeat to Kairat has caused an almighty fallout that is going to be felt from now until the end of the season.
Brendan Rodgers watched his Celtic team fail to score a goal in 3.5 hours of football against a team ranked lower than St Johnstone in the UEFA rankings.
However, Celtic fans rage is about to hit new levels when they find out how much money the club are set to pay Dermot Desmond after that Champions League humiliation.
The six-figure sum Celtic are set to pay Dermot Desmond after Champions League disaster
Fans are already fuming after hearing how Desmond gets involved in Celtic’s transfer business this summer.
And now, in two days time, Celtic’s largest single shareholder is now due a tidy sum of cash paid through a dividend in his shares.
Excellent X account GrandOLTeam shared, “You’ll be happy to know that Celtic pays its annual dividend on the Convertible Cumulative Preference Shares (CCP) on Friday.
“About £560,000 will be paid put, with about £185,000 going to Dermot Desmond.
“That dividend has paid every year since 1997, regardless of club losses, COVID, etc.”

Legally, Desmond is entitled to that monastery but after watching Celtic asset strip the first-team and fail to invest properly in the squad, this will stick in many fans’ throats.
