Celtic hero, Chris Sutton, laughing at Rangers fans.

Celtic hero Chris Sutton piles more misery onto Rangers fans after Club Brugge battering

If the night couldn’t get any worse for Rangers fans, it has now as Celtic icon Chris Sutton takes aim at them.

Sutton is notorious for winding up the Ibrox supporters and after Rangers’ humbling against Club Brugge in the Champions League, the former Celtic man didn’t miss.

Russell Martin and the Rangers support got a taste of what it’s really like to mix it with UEFA’s elite clubs instead of having it easier in the Europa League.

And as Celtic fans have always known, it’s not easy in the Champions League.

And as Rangers went 3-0 down, Sutton could wait to take to social media to take a pop at their fans.

Celtic icon Sutton’s ‘Rangers don’t do walking away’ tweet

Just before half-time, Sutton took aim and fired.

Taking to X Sutton said, “I thought Rangers fans don’t do walking away?

“20 minutes in and many have given up already”

The tweet went viral with over 168,000 views, over 4,000 likes, 362 retweets and over 230 comments.

Many of the comments had footage of Rangers fans deserting Ibrox as Rangers fans did, well, walking away.
