Since Celtic signed Jahmai Simpson-Pusey almost three weeks ago, Brendan Rodgers is still to make any further new signings.
The Celtic manager has made no secret of the fact that he wants new players in to beef up his attacking front line.
And as Celtic fans grow more and more frustrated at the lack of transfer business, it appears that the hold-up for all transfers may well not be down to the club.

Celtic have been linked with the likes of Michel-Ange Balikwisha over recent weeks and it seems that he and one other target have sent Celtic a Champions League message this summer.
Big John told A Celtic State of Mind, “As I understand it, I was talking to someone who has got a fair degree of connection, and what he was saying was that at least two of the players that we would have wanted to sign for us, they are the ones holding things up.
“They have said, ‘Well come back and talk to me once you’ve qualified for the Champions League.’
“I think Balikwisha is one of them as well. So, you know, it’s not necessarily us that’s holding it up.”
If this is the case and Celtic get past Kairat Almaty then fans will be expecting a glut of new fresh faces being injected into the Hoops first-team squad, right?
