Celtic fans will love talkSPORT man stifling his laughter at David Tanner’s Rangers pain

Celtic fans have had a right good laugh at Rangers this weekend.

For all the bravado over the summer coming from the Ibrox fans after the 49ers’ investment in Rangers, when the pressure was on to deliver, Russell Martin’s men reverted to type against Motherwell.

Celtic fans have seen this script many times since the new Rangers was born in 2012 and even with the American consortium’s cash behind them, the Ibrox team’s bottle remains just as fragile now as it has been since then,

And after Rangers choked against Motherwell, the meltdown from the Ibrox support has been superb. And now, it’s the turn of talkSPORT’s David Tanner.

David Tanner’s Rangers pain is a great start to the Celtic fans’ week

Celtic kicked off their Scottish Premiership campaign with a 1-0 win over St Mirren yesterday to give Brendan Rodgers an early two-point lead after the first game of the season.

But 24 hours prior to that, Tanner was on duty with talkSPORT and as he gave the update that Motherwell had deservedly earned a point against Rangers, the radio station’s presenter could barely hide his joy.

Have a watch of this:

The man’s name was Olly Klink and he clearly enjoyed that just as much as the Celtic fans did.

It’s not the first time Celtic and Rangers have caused David Tanner pain

Indeed, this is not the first time Celtic and Rangers have ruined Tanner’s weekend.

After Celtic beat Rangers in the League Cup final, Tanner had a meltdown on talkSPORT at full time.

He also couldn’t hold back his pain when Celtic drew with Atalanta in the Champions League last season as the success of the Parkhead club made him reek with jealousy.

I’ve got a funny feeling this season is going to be another sore one for the talkSPORT Rangers supporting pundit.
