Ange Postecoglou must now be regretting his decision to leave Celtic for Tottenham now.
Even after winning the Europa League, Postecoglou was sacked by Tottenham as the ex-Celtic boss took them back into the Champions League as well.
The Premier League club have shown no loyalty to a man who ended a 17-year trophy drought and, let’s be honest, a large portion of their fans have acted not better towards the Celtic treble-winning manager.
However, now Postecoglou is looking for a new club, it appears that the Tottenham players are taking the sacking too well privately.
Players ‘want to leave’ Tottenham after ex-Celtic boss Postecoglou was sacked
Celtic fans know the feeling all too well of losing Postecoglou as does the Parkhead dressing room.
And whilst Ange left Celtic with the majority of the fans and players’ blessings, is appears behind the scenes at Tottenham, all is seriously not week.
Fan account Last Word on Spurs said on X, “Ange Postecoglou’s departure has angered a number of Tottenham players, with sources claiming some want to leave the club and that the Australian’s successor will face a huge task to repair the dressing-room damage.
“A source said: ‘The players are so angry about what has happened and how it has been handled. The next manager is going to inherit a difficult situation.’

It looks like Daniel Levy has scored a massive own goal and that Postecoglou was just as popular with Spurs’ players as he was at Celtic.
Where will he land now? Suggestions that Postecoglou would be an excellent Scotland boss has been mooted however, that remains unlikely as the Aussie will be highly sought after now after his Europa League heroics.
