Celtic fans have been enjoying another weekend celebrating being champions of Scotland whilst Rangers scrub around looking for a new boss.
Brendan Rodgers successfully brought home Celtic’s fourth title in a row whilst, ironically, seeing off his fourth manager in two spells at Parkhead.
So as Barry Ferguson manages Rangers out of another trophyless season, a ‘leaked’ email suggesting three candidates to take over Bazball next season from the Ibrox CEO has apparently emerged on X.
And it makes superb reading for Celtic supporters.
’Leaked’ manager email dupes Rangers fans
In a post on X, a Rangers fan posted a screenshot of an email claiming to be from Patrick Stewart with a three-man shortlist for the vacant Ibrox job.

Steven Gerrard, Marco Rose and Juliet Lopetegui were named in the list from and email address CEO@rangers.co.uk.
The best part, the main reason Gerrard was apparently shortlisted was because he ‘understands the club’.
Yeah, look how that worked out.
Unfortunately for Celtic fans the email was fake but it certainly hooked a lot of Rangers supporters as they wallow in self-pity over the Parkhead club’s recent trophy success.
