Celtic fans are still having a right good chuckle at Rangers and Barry Ferguson.
Ferguson was hired by the Ibrox club after Rangers sacked Philippe Clement after the Belgian failed to close the gap to Celtic in his 16 months in charge.
With Brendan Rodgers 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership and in line to win another treble, Clement was binned and Ferguson was parachuted in to save his old club.
And in Rangers’ win at Kilmarnock, it all nearly went pear-shaped after the Gers went 2-0 down in the first 15 minutes of the game.
However, VAR helped Rangers staunchly battled back to win 4-2 but even after that, Celtic fans are still having a good laugh at them and their interim boss.

The hiring of Ferguson was met with cries of delight from the Celtic fans but it was what he did before the game that had many in tears.

Celtic fans have long joked about Rangers managers and their brown brogues and Barry didn’t let us down.
His choice of footwear had many Hoops fans in tears with many ridiculing Ferguson even long after the final whistle had blown at Rugby Park.
Celtic fans are enjoying the Rangers supporters’ reaction to Kilmarnock win
Ferguson oversaw a decent comeback when it looked like he has in over his head.
And less than 24 hours later, Rangers fans have a new Messiah as they rinse and repeat all the previous nonsense Celtic fans have heard from them every time they hire a new gaffer.

It gets better:
Barry Ferguson’s first game as interim manager, and he marks it with a gritty, hard-fought victory at Rugby Park. It was a game of two halves, but the second half was everything you’d expect from a team led by Ferguson—aggression, intensity, and an unwavering will to win. pic.twitter.com/sUVFjSTq2Q

And there are many many more tweets just like this.
These fans never learn and there is a saying that Celtic fans always use in these moments, it’s the hope that kills them.
