Arne Engels was a victim of an assault inside Ibrox in the last Rangers vs Celtic game.
Celtic lost the game and their unbeaten record but Rangers lost something a lot more valuable. Their reputation.
Who am I kidding? Their reputation is a joke in Scottish football as the Rangers support revel in anti-Celtic sectarian singing, and racism and even fight amongst themselves in the Ibrox stands whenever results or VAR decisions do not go their way.
But against Celtic, they were winning and even when in victory, the Rangers fans could not enjoy the moment without embarrassing themselves and Scottish football once again by hitting Hoops star Arne Engels with a coin from the stands.
Police Scotland ‘keen’ to talk to Rangers fan after assault of Celtic’s Arne Engels
Police Scotland have now released an image of the Rangers fan they want to speak to in connection with the assault on Arne Engels in the Ibrox game.
Constable Kevin Davidson of Police Scotland said: “Officers are keen to talk to this man as we believe he may have information which could assist with our enquiries.
🗣️ "You are there to do your job & I think you guys never experienced something like it. That somebody will throw coins or something on your heads during your work."

Arne Engels has spoken for the first time since being struck with a coin during Celtic's defeat at Rangers ⬇️ pic.twitter.com/Cyvmm3fhsk
“The man pictured or anyone who may recognise him is asked to contact us.”
He looks like someone who needs his hard drive checked but let’s hope Storm Eowyn didn’t blow off his moustache and this coward is caught and hauled up before a judge quickly.
