Celtic are coining it in after their Champions League heroics this season.
Brendan Rodgers ensured Celtic’s place in the playoffs with a win over Young Boys last night which guarantees at least another home game at Celtic Park.
With Champions League money already banked with seven games played, the Celtic manager will be relishing another one of Europe’s top clubs heading to Glasgow in February.
So just how much are Celtic set to earn now that they have secured their playoff place? It’s a hefty amount and it’s left Rangers fans sickened.
Celtic set to earn over £50m from Champions League revenue
Celtic are on course to earn around about £50,500,000 from this season’s Champions League and it’s a figure that will help keep the boot on Rangers’ neck for the next few years at least.
Celtic are on course to make around €60m from this season's Champions League so far, when you factor in gate recipes, including the knockout round.

~€31.5m from the CL
€8.4m in prize money
€1m for finishing 9-24th
€14m in gate recipes
€275k for per position (place pot)
With Celtic already cash-rich, Rodgers will have plenty of cash in the bank to strengthen his team for next season.
And how are Rangers fans reacting to the news? Well, lets take a look.
Rangers fans are raging at Celtic’s ‘sickening’ Champions League riches
They are not a happy bunch are the Rangers fans. In fact, they are not angry. They are fuming:
Sickening. This is on the back of our hard graft.

But the rage did not stop there:
Now, I don’t need to remind Celtic fans of Rodgers’ success in negotiating Champions League qualifying rounds so I’ll just let this guy do it instead:
Luckily for Celtic, they have a manager who has navigated them through the qualifers twice previously, if not they can stat pad the coefficient in the lesser competition.

The pain and suffering Celtic are causing Rangers fans this season is superb and when we win another treble, it will be outstanding!
