Former Rangers boss Philippe Clement at Celtic Park after Glasgow Derby defeat to Celtic

Sharp Hoops fans roast Philippe Clement’s bizarre Celtic comments on Sky & BBC before Rangers flopped vs Motherwell

Philippe Clement is a man under pressure after he has allowed Rangers to gall 14 points behind Celtic in the title race.

The Belgian waffler must be close to being toast after Rangers dropped points against Motherwell and Celtic battered St Johnstone.

Brendan Rodgers’ team are flying right now and it’s putting immense pressure on Clement who can’t seem to buy a win for Rangers right now. Oh, how much would the Rangers love EBTs now?

But it was what Clement said about Celtic before the Fir Park draw that sharp-eared Hoops fans roasted as the Ibrox gaffer played to the gallery.

Clement’s desperate Celtic comments on Sky & BBC

The Rangers boss was talking about how he was going to set up against Motherwell but bizarrely started talking about Celtic.

Have a listen to this:

What was the point of even mentioning Celtic and the clear-cut penalty that was awarded? But it didn’t stop there.

Clement appeared on Sky Sports and said the exact same thing minutes later:

Very strange behaviour and it wasn’t lost on the Celtic fans.

He really is a strange character but he is also reaching cult-hero status with the Celtic fans with his bizarre behaviour.

One fan added, “Can’t get through an interview without bringing up Celtic.” as another said, “The job has completely broken him.”

One Celtic fan was raging, “Seriously wtf is wrong with this guy? Absolutely mental for him to say that asked about his game today.” and another said, “Have we ever seen a Rangers manager as rattled as him?”

Even Rangers fans must be sick of this:

Personally, I hope he continues down this path because watching his and the Rangers support absolutely lose their minds over this festive period has been top-notch viewing.
