Humiliated on and off the park, Rangers embarrassed Scottish football after the Celtic support sold the game on TV at Hampden yesterday.
The Celtic fans put on a display of colour and created a wonderful atmosphere during their League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen last night.
But today, as Motherwell faced Rangers, the TV broadcaster was hoping for another brilliant sell out crowd to justify their sponsorship of the tournament.
They were left disappointed as Rangers fans left Scottish football red-faced with their turnout for the big game.
Celtic support outdo the Rangers fans in the Premier Sports cup
The opportunity to win the first piece of silverware clearly wasn’t attractive enough for the Rangers fans as pictures from Premier Sports showed a there-quarters empty Hampden stand.

The TV company tried their best to hide this last picture but when Rangers stepped up to take their corner, the embarrassing pictures are there for all to see.

At least Premier Sports can console themselves with one thing. On the 15th of December the Celtic fans will be at Hampden to do the country proud with another fine fan display.
