Celtic are looking forward to facing Motherwell this afternoon and the reaction to Stuart Kettlewell’s team announcement from his own fans gives the Parkhead fans a clue as to how this game is going to go.
Motherwell will have the chance to overtake Dundee United after the Tayside club were beaten by a late Aberdeen goal up at Pittodrie last night.
But it seems that the Well fans are not happy after Kettlewell names his starting eleven to face Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic for the 3pm kick-off.
Two changes from last week.

Celtic fans won’t be too familiar with the calibre of the Fir Park side so I’ll let their own fans give you an idea on how they think this game is going to go.
Motherwell vs Celtic team has left Fir Park fans fearing the worst
The Fir Park fans’ reaction really sums up how this afternoon is going to go:
5-4-1….I can see we're in for a long afternoon 🤦🏻♂️

One Well fan is happy with the changes but with the same message:
Open to the change after last week didn’t work. Tho I will admit it will probably be a long afternoon

One fan’s take was simple:
strange

Whilst another Motherwell fan offered a more realistic view of the team sheet:
Were you expecting us to have a go at them and let them score 10, like?

And one Motherwell fan said, “Playing a poor right back at centre half with 2 centre backs on the bench.”
Callum McGregor missing as Celtic team is announced vs Motherwell
Brendan Rodgers announced his team to face Motherwell and there were plenty of changes for the Celtic fans to chew over.

Callum McGregor was left out of the squad as Luke McCowan got his first start of the season. James Forrest replaces Nicolas Kuhn who drops to the bench with Kyogo earning his starting place back after his outing in the Atalanta draw.
A win will take Celtic back to the top of the league and pile the pressure on Sevco who face St Mirren at Ibrox this afternoon.
