Celtic’s financial position is such that the club can invest in the infrastructure on the stadium grounds and their current training facilities.
The supporters have seen how The Celtic Way looks now after it was redeveloped into an outstanding entrance into Celtic Park.
Lennoxtown also got a revamp and now it’s the turn of the training facility at Barrowfield to get some much-needed work done on it as the complex at Barrowfield gets a makeover.
Celtic announced the works back in May and now, over five months later, a popular YouTuber has captured the progress of the work that has been undertaken by using a drone.
Drone Audits Scotland posted this clip and as the channel video some superb aerial footage of how Barrowfield looks now.
Work is scheduled to be completed by November of this year and the complex will serve as a dedicated training ground for Celtic Women but also for the boys and girls academies.
Celtic boss Elena Sadiku delighted with the proposal
Speaking to Celtic at the time of the announcement, Elena Sadiku was over the moon at the proposal and the new home she will have for her team.
Sadiku said, “Here at Celtic, we always strive for excellence both on and off the pitch.
“The redevelopment of Barrowfield aligns perfectly with our ambition to be the top club in Scotland.
“As we witness the emergence of talents like Chloe Craig and Maria McAneny from Celtic’s Academy system onto the main stage, our ambitions are set even higher.”
