In a way, this is very apt. The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln, who plays zombie slayer Rick Grimes, was pictured by Celtic fans joining in the Parkhead celebrations last night.
Nabbing a cheeky selfie, Lincoln can be seen with the backdrop of a packed Celtic Park as Brendan Rodgers prepared his team to slay the Slovakians last night.
In the series, Lincoln plays the role of Rick Grimes who was a sheriff who awoke from a coma in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies had overrun the Earth.
In the series, Grimes went on a search for his family after they became separated and took on the role of a zombie slayer.
The smash-hit TV series was very popular in it’s prime time slot on satellite TV so it is very fitting that in real life, Lincoln supports a club that has been slaying the zombies for over 12 years now.
