22 Rangers records James Tavernier has broken Celtic fans will find hilarious

The domestic action starts again this week as the Celtic fans look forward to seeing Brendan Rodgers and the Bhoys take on Hearts at Celtic Park.

With a five-point gap ahead of Rangers at the top of the league, this could genuinely be a record-breaking point-winning tally Celtic could have over the Ibrox club this season.

Now people might say I am getting ahead of myself and, in truth, I probably am, but looking at how both teams are playing right now, I do believe Celtic captain, Callum McGregor will be adding another record to his already impressive haul.

Which leads me to the Rangers captain, James Tavernier. Tavernier was inducted into their Hall of Fame a couple of years ago and it was a decision that completely baffled the Celtic fans.

Why? To put it simply, he hasn’t enjoyed anywhere near the number of trophies McGregor has had at Celtic or broken anywhere near the number of records the Hoops captain has. Or so we thought.
