Graeme Souness has lost all credibility as a pundit this week, hasn’t he? His mad Celtic rant after Rangers got pumped at Parkhead on Sunday was just crazy.
Souness went off on one and claimed that the gap between Celtic and Rangers is not that big even though Celtic’s trophy haul over the last 20-odd years has proven otherwise.
Anyway, after Brendan Rodgers recorded his fifth win in six over Clement, Souness hit the headlines with his nonsense about Celtic and it made the Hoops support dig out what he said about his old club dying back in 2012.

To this day Souness denies Rangers were liquidated and as the Scottish media do, he continually perpetuates the same club myth.
Well, I would like to see him do it now after these comments from 2012 will give the Celtic supporters more laughs over his clown show comments.
Souness told talkSPORT via the Daily Record “I think they will go into administration and reappear as Rangers 2012 or something, sadly.
“It is just a tragedy that has happened to them.
“I think they will come out of it. I think there will be an addition to the name, Rangers whatever.
“They will come out without their debt and start again.
“Without pointing fingers at anyone in particular, people have to hold their hands up and say they got their sums wrong in a very large way.
“They are not alone. I think it could easily happen to clubs in the Premiership who don’t have an individual benefactor, who don’t have someone who is stinking rich who can fund it going forward and take loss after loss.
“I just think it is a case of chasing the dream, trying to give the supporters what they want and it has all come home to roost, unfortunately.”
Souness has proven once again that Sky Sports were correct to punt him from their screens. His dinosaur views and opinions have no place in the game.
And after what he said about Celtic, I fully expect talkSPORT to be telling him not to talk about our club again.

Souness has got previous with his mad rants of course ! Remember the ‘ men against boys’ talk back in the day when he was comparing Celtic v Blackburn Rovers ? Well we all know how that turned out ..don’t we ? Then again ,I suppose that is a very apt description of Celtic v theRangers at the weekend ….we know for sure who were the boys ?
