It’s been a beautiful night on social media for the Celtic fans as the Rangers support have a complete meltdown over the Parkhead club.
The first thing to annoy the Rangers fans was the Champions League draw. Minutes after Celtic drew Borussia Dortmund, Atalanta, Young Boys, RB Leipzig, Club Brugge, Slovan Bratislava, Dinamo Zagreb and Aston Villa, they were on Follow Follow absolutely fuming and it was just beautiful.
But to be fair to them, they were triggered and personally, I blame my good friend Paul John Dykes for doing just that.
Because a mere hour before the draw took place, Paul John was on Sky Sports previewing Celtic’s Champions League draw when he dropped this belter:
Rangers fighting for second place in the SPFL
When it was put to Paul John that Aberdeen are doing well the A Celtic State of Mind presenter threw in a superb grenade.
Dykes said, “Aberdeen have done really well. I think there’s an opportunity there for Aberdeen to sign another couple of players and really push for second.
“It will always be a proper title fight in Scotland but I think if we do our transfer business properly we should be fairly comfortable this season.”
And when the grenade was thrown he took a superb step back to let X do its thing it was just beautiful. And as the Rangers fans raged, the Celtic fans lapped it up:
Went on sky, made a tiny wee point at the end to get a reaction and the comments prove just how easy it is 😂😂 well done @PaulJohnDykes …. maybe put out a bigger net next time, this one's bulging 😂

If you want to see the Rangers fans’ replies you need to jump on the thread because many of them are unpublishable, even for this site.
Come Sunday though, there is likely to be more pain as Rangers visit Celtic Park in the first Glasgow Derby of the season. When Celtic do win that, the meltdown we have just seen here will pale in comparison.
