David Tanner on Sky Sports duty at Celtic Park

David Tanner sounds and looks broken as Champions League Rangers tears will bring joy to the Celtic fans

Whenever there’s a poor Rangers result, the Celtic fans can always rely on David Tanner to provide some entertaining post-match fallout.

Normally, Tanner tweets something that is in complete denial of the actual events that happened. But this time, it’s completely different.

This time the former Sky Sports presenter looked down and out as he watched his team capitulate at Hampden and crash out of the Champions League against a team who looked bang average at best.

Oh, and Tanner made a suggestion to help improve Rangers performances at the end of this video that the Celtic fans will absolutely love.

Have a watch of this:

Now I’m not a football motivational expert but someone needs to tell Tanner that a playlist to motivate this Rangers team is the least of their worries and is not going to solve the deep rooted issues that plague that club.

They have no money. They have no Champions League and by the looks of it, they also have no hope of toppling Celtic for the next few years as Brendan Rodgers turns the screw.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. What a time to be a Celtic fan.
