Ibrox Stadium

The latest pictures from Ibrox ‘dump’ will brighten up the Celtic fans’ weekend

The new season is only one week old and already the Celtic fans have witnessed a few meltdowns from our friends over at Ibrox.

A 0-0 draw with Hearts on the opening weekend allowed Celtic to steal a march on Rangers after Brendan Rodgers’ team beat Kilmarnock 4-0 at Parkhead.

The fallout from that one weekend made Paddy Power payout for the league title race already in a move that almost broke Follow Follow.

With Hibs up next for Celtic at Easter Road and Rangers set to face Motherwell for their first game at Hampden since the Ibrox shambles, this weekend has the potential for more tears from the south side of Glasgow should they fail to beat The Steelmen and Celtic take three capital points.

But the Hampden move is just temporary right? That’s what John Bennett and the Ibrox board would have the Rangers fans believe. But these latest pictures say otherwise.

Rangers fans fume at Ibrox ‘dump’

We showed you some pictures from Ibrox on the 19th of July and said that Rangers’ hopes of getting back to the stadium in October looked a bit optimistic.

And these latest pictures still cast doubt on when Rangers fans will be back in their seats they spent hundreds of pounds on before the season kicked off.

Some progress was made but barely anything by the looks of it considering it’s been almost a month.

And as the pictures sink in with the Rangers fans, even they are starting to say that a return to Ibrox before Christmas is unlikely:

One Rangers fan is refusing to panic, “The third shipment of steel isn’t due until the third week of August according to Bennet’s video so I wouldn’t panic just yet.”

And another said:

A Celtic fan chipped in:

It’s amazing just how their season is unravelling before a ball is kicked in the second game of the season.

Fingers crossed Motherwell add more pain this weekend because the fallout from that will just be tremendous.
