The new season hasn’t even yet and the Rangers fans are giving the Celtic support some great moments already.
We’ve already had hours of fun after due to the hilarious failure of the Ibrox upgrade and we’ve also seen how the Rangers fans went nuts at one of their own players on Follow Follow as they identify an early-season scapegoat.
But none of those is better than this wee guy’s meltdown that was posted on social media yesterday after Rangers’ Murrayfield humbling at the hands of Man United.
Rangers new season optimism turns to Celtic despair
This video is simply brilliant as it shows the joy and immediate despair of what it feels to be a Rangers fan every time a new season comes around.
Have a watch of this:
It must be murder following them. Even watching this guy’s video right from the start he was champing at the bit to see his team.
As were 35,000 odd other fans that paid a ridiculous amount of money to watch that game.
And the best part? They all started walking out as soon as the player they labelled a dud two seasons ago scored a worldy into superkeeper Jack Butland’s far corner.
The pain is tremendous and the hopes that they had for the start of the new season has already been crushed.
What a time to be a Celtic supporter because off of the back of what we have just watched, The Banter Years collection is about to have few new volumes added to before the big SPFL August kick-off.
