There seems to be a thing about current and ex-Rangers players and social media reels that are a source of amusement for the Celtic fans.
Many will remember the embarrassing faux pas of John Lundstram where he included his sending off in Rangers’ 2-1 title-deciding defeat to Celtic at Parkhead as he said goodbye to the Ibrox fans.
I never covered it at the time but James Tavernier did it as well with his showreel yesterday when the Rangers captain decided to make a highlights reel about a season where he and his team bottled the league title race and the Scottish Cup final.
They really are a weird bunch. But it’s even better when a club uses an iconic Celtic memory to celebrate signing an ex-Rangers player and, I think it’s fair to say, Trabzonspor just won the internet with their effort yesterday.
Trabzonspor post classic Callum McGregor moment
Welcome to Turkey Borna, here’s a wee video to show you to the fans… only this is not just any video though, is it?
Take a look at this.
So did you spot it? Of course you did but just in case, this Celtic fan tells you exactly where to play the video from just in case you missed it.
You’re not gonna believe what they’ve put in at 20 seconds 😭🤣🤣 https://t.co/PxXaKHRX9p

In what was one of the best moments in that 3-0 thumping of Rangers, Callum McGregor, chasing after Barisic and calling him a sh–ebag has to be up there with one of the most talked about moments that season.

Now that Barisic’s Celtic torture is over, it seems that there are fans who are looking to continue to torment him even though he has moved on to pastures new.
What’s Turkish for sh–ebag?
