Regular readers of Born Celtic will know that as well as keeping you all up to date with the chat for the Celtic podcast world, I dip into the occasional area of ripping it out of the Rangers fans.
The Banter Years are well and truly alive and they have been superb over the course of the last few months.
But now it’s the close season, there’s not as much ripping going on as I would like. Until now, but with a twist.
You will all remember how I wrote about Fabio Silva criticising the Rangers fans for the online abuse he had been receiving.
There was a rumour firing about online making up what he actually said and it seems that the Celtic fans were getting the blame for it.
You’ve probably all seen the fake quotes by now, but if not, here they are:

So whilst the Bears raged and blamed the Celtic support for this, which to me seems like a complete waste of time and effort on a no mark like Silva, but it seems that the source of the lie lay a lot closer to the Ibrox Big Hoose:

They are genuinely the most messed up fnanase in world football.
And all this shows is how much Celtic’s success has broken them. And it is just glorious.
