Celtic star, Matt O'Riley

Paddy Power used Celtic’s Matt O’Riley’s Denmark snub to take a superb kick at the Rangers fans

The Rangers fans have not really had much to celebrate over the last couple of months as they continue to live in Celtic’s shadow.

Almost winning the league, beating Celtic 3-3 at Ibrox and then being cheated out of the Scottish Cup by bent SFA officials has really compounded a painful season for the Rangers fans.

From going from potential Quadruple winners (Whaaaat? They could have won the Europa League!) to just having the League Cup win from October (which was helped by the officials) to crow about, the legendary season Rangers were meant to have was completely destroyed by Brendan Rodgers and Celtic.

And it is absolutely brilliant. And now, it gets even better.

Rangers fans rinsed by Paddy Power once again

Paddy Power has been having a field day at the Rangers fans’ expense over the last few weeks.

From their superb Scottish Cup Fan Denial video to simply swinging a boot at Rangers manager, Philippe Clement, the Irish bookmaker has been bang at it.

And this time, it took a simple tweet to turn Matt O’Riley’s Denmark snub into a superb swipe at the Rangers fans:

It’s going to be a long summer for the Rangers fans as The Banter Years continue even after this season has ended.

They will be hoping that the Euros kicking off soon will be able to divert the media attention away from their basket cast of a club but there is absolutely no chance of that happening when Rangers continue to give us superb content of their own making to work with.
