Joe Hart is going to be missed by the Celtic supporters next season, of that there is no doubt.
The big Englishman has been a superb addition to the club after Ange Postecoglou brought him in back in 2021.
After announcing his retirement just after the New Year, Hart has played out of his skin to ensure that the club claimed silverware after losing out on the League Cup earlier in the season.
The league was wrapped up almost two weeks ago and after the weekend win over Rangers in the Scottish Cup, Hart can now leave the club with a sense of real satisfaction.
Hart’s emotional Celtic moment
As the reality of leaving a club that Hart holds so close to his heart sunk in, the Celtic No1 took a moment at Hampden to reflect on the journey he has had over his last three seasons in Glasgow.
Have a look at this:
Recognising his teammate’s feelings, Matt O’Riley gave Hart a brilliant embrace and the big ‘keeper’s reaction was superb.
It just showed the respect that he has amongst the Celtic team and there is no doubt that when Hart walks out of Celtic one last time, he will be sorely missed by the fans, the players and Brendan Rodgers.
