Celtic’s last minute penalty win over Hibs ignited scenes of sheer jubilation at Easter Road.
As Adam Idah lapped up the adulation of the Celtic supporters, the on-loan Norwich man sparked tears and wailing on social media as the Sevco fans went into a full-scale meltdown.
One particular fan took the time and effort to compare Celtic’s penalty record to that of the rest of the teams in Europe.
And whilst I haven’t had the time to fact check this, the first response to this tweet had me in tears.
It’s these kinds of replies that make me love the Celtic fans. With Rangers clearly benefitting from more refereeing decisions than any other club over the past two seasons, the irony of posts like this is off the charts.
With just 13 games to go in the title race, the pressure is really starting to show on these Rangers fans as they can smell the top of the table but just can’t taste the cherry on top.
But hey, it’s no wonder no one takes them seriously and why they are regarded as the banter club of Scotland.
